Traveling the world, how can one explain what they’ve seen, except through the lens? Jonathan bought his first camera, a Yoshika FR1 35 mm, in 1980. However, it was only in the last few years that he has been able to devote the time desired to his passion of photography.

It is visually stimulating and a source of cascading sensations that make each photo a work of art. It masters the transition between light and shadow creating images that capture your attention and envelope your gaze. In my opinion, one of the essential qualities of Jonathan Carey's photography is that it gets the viewer to make the image their own to such an extent that they are enraptured both in the beauty and the story that is being told.
